Chocolate Dream Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons Folona Pea Protein Powder 
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional toppings: shaved dark chocolate, sliced banana, or a drizzle of honey

Instructions:

  1.  In a blender, combine the unsweetened almond milk, ripe banana, Folona Pea Protein Powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), and pure vanilla extract.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender. The ice will give your smoothie a creamy and frothy texture.
  3. Secure the blender lid and blend everything until you achieve a silky-smooth consistency. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Taste your chocolate dream smoothie and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding a little more honey or maple syrup.
  5. Pour your delicious smoothie into a glass, and if desired, top it with shaved dark chocolate, sliced banana, or a drizzle of honey for that extra touch of decadence.
