Chilled Mocha Chocolate Smoothie

  • 1 cup Folona Pea Milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice)
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 shot of espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: whipped coconut cream and chocolate shavings for garnish


  1. In a blender, combine Folona Pea Milk, sliced banana, cocoa powder, espresso or coffee, almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more maple syrup.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a chilled glass.
  6. Optional: Top with whipped coconut cream and chocolate shavings for an extra indulgence.
